April 2016 Online Income Report

Welcome to my April 2016 monthly income report!

Each month I will share a detailed report on how much income each of my online businesses has made. It doesn’t matter if its been a great month or a terrible month, ill put the details here in these reports.

This will not only hold me accountable and keep me motivated but hopefully it will also inspire others to take action towards their goals since im essentially starting from nothing. My reports may be small to start but hopefully that will change as I continue to grow as an online entrepreneur.

Lastly as a point of reference my online income from the first income report in January 2014 was $356.70 lets see how that changes moving forward.

Summary

Well i have good news and bad news this month. We’ll start with the good. I’m happy to say that April was a great month financially and i almost hit my 5k mark.  I’m still getting sales from the reviews i finished in march and i got a nice bump from my createspace earnings. I still haven’t received any payments from kindle as they basically wait 3 months before they start paying you. Also i plan on starting a new test in May for a product that looks really good. If all goes as planned, hopefully, this will add another residual income stream.

Now onto the not so good news. One of the affiliate companies that im a  part of decided to revamp their affiliate program in march and i lost the majority of my earnings for that month. In total i lost $600 because they decided to change their criteria out of nowhere. Things should be back to normal in May and hopefully there will be no more surprises. If it wasnt for this issue i would of hit my second income goal of 5k this month. Secondly i’ve pulled one of my books from kindle and create space due to issues with a writer. After this headache i think im probably done with Amazon and i’ll be focusing on growing my review site again.

Last month I had 1000 youtube subscribers which got me to my first goal. As you can see to the left i now have 1127 subs. Its been some time since i’ve added that many subs in 1 month. I still havent done anything different so im not sure where they came from but im happy to see the progress. I do plan on adding an outro to my videos which will have a subscribe button and a call to action. I believe that will help a lot. I’ll update here once that happens.

At the end of last month i had 1,681 email subs and now i have 1,703. I haven’t done anything to grow my get response list but i can guess that this growth is from my participation in that recent product launch. Overall visitation to my site has gone up since then as well as the number of emails im getting on a daily basis. I’ve decided to focus on list building in May so we shall see if i can pass the 2k mark soon.

As a reminder my next online income goal is $5,000 in one month. My next youtube subscriber goal is 2000 subscribers and my next email subscriber goal is 2000. The April numbers are below.
