January 2017 Online Income Report
Welcome to my January 2017 monthly income report!
Each month I will share a detailed report on how much income each of my online businesses has made. It doesn’t matter if its been a great month or a terrible month, ill put the details here in these reports.
This will not only hold me accountable and keep me motivated but hopefully it will also inspire others to take action towards their goals since im essentially starting from nothing. My reports may be small to start but hopefully that will change as I continue to grow as an online entrepreneur.
Lastly as a point of reference my online income from the first income report in January 2014 was $356.70 lets see how that changes moving forward.
Summary
This was an interesting month. Mainly because i got several unexpected payments. I mentioned in last months income report that wealth generators had failed testing and that i had lost that income source. It seems that they had a guarantee that states if i use their service for 6 months and im not in profit they will refund triple my monthly investment. I contacted them about this and it seems i qualified so they will be paying out triple my investment over the next 6 months. Also they offer free membership once you refer 3 people so my membership was free which means this will all be profit. You’ll notice wealth generators back on the stats below for 5 more months :-). Secondly i got a random payment from JOBB which was unexpected and i also got an affiliate payment from Cris Chico which was unexpected as i havent done anything with his service in several years.
I attempted a new marketing method with my affiliate business but it didnt turn out very well. Im in the trading niche so i basically post my review videos on my website and my youtube channel and last month i tried posting my review videos on a online income forum to see if it would get more traffic. Unfortunately i didnt notice any uptick in traffic whatsoever. I’ll continue testing this method with different forums to see if i can make it work. Another nice surprise was my publishing income. It was up a bit from last month so thats a nice surprise. I have a few new ideas for income streams so hopefully i’ll be able to hit my 7k online income goal this year.
Last month I had 1,709 youtube subscribers and im currently at 1,751. Not a huge jump but as always im happy with any growth. Every month that goes by gets me closer to 2k subs.
At the end of last month i had 2,079 email subs and now i have 2072. I expected this to go down since im not doing any new advertising for subscribers.
Ive been told by several people i should be putting 25% of my income back into solo ads to continue growing my list but i havent done it yet. I’ve been focused on saving and building an emergency fund so once i hit those goals i should be able to start buying solo ads again. I know it might not make sense but i hate spending money, i save nearly everything i make. I’ve also been focused on getting my monthly debt down as low as possible so my online income will be able to support me one day soon. On months like last month where my income drops considerably my emergency fund will, in theory, make up anything im short and i’ll simply replace whatever i use. I hope to speak to a few people about how they went full time with their online businesses before i do it myself.
As a reminder my next online income goal is $7,000 in one month. My next youtube subscriber goal is 2000 subscribers and my next email subscriber goal is 3000.
